Michael I. Friedman has been with THE ASSOCIATED since 1994, and has served as the Vice President for Planned Giving and Endowment since 1999. With a background in law and charitable gift planning, Michael oversees the Legacy and Endowment Department work in charitable gift planning and development of endowments, capital gifts, charitable
remainder trusts, gift annuities, philanthropic funds and supporting foundations. He works with donors and their advisors to develop tax-wise gift plans that reflect the donor’s financial, estate and charitable planning goals, and, where appropriate, foster intergenerational succession.
Michael serves on the Board of the Baltimore Estate Planning Council and is a past president of the Chesapeake Planned Giving Council (CPGC). Michael currently serves as the national chair of the Endowment Professionals Advisory Committee of United Jewish Communities (UJC), and he has taught at UJC’s New Endowment Professionals Institute and its General Assembly. Michael is also a frequent speaker at professional organizations, including CPGC and the Maryland Association of CPA’s.

Linda joined the Legacy and Endowment Department of THE ASSOCIATED as the Director of Endowment Development in 2001, having gained more than ten years of fundraising and marketing experience at the Public Justice Center, the Central Scholarship Bureau, and The Enterprise Foundation.
Linda’s primary responsibilities include the Circle
of Giving program, Harry Greenstein Legacy Society, Lion of Judah Endowment, Annual Campaign Endowment and Campaign 2030. In addition, she helps develop new donor-advised funds and coordinates the grants process for selected endowments, scholarships and philanthropic funds.
Trained as a clinical social worker (MSW), Linda developed and continues to use many of her organizational skills as a volunteer in the Jewish community.

Michael J. Dye came to THE ASSOCIATED in September 2005. He is an attorney with a background in estate and tax planning for wealthy clients. A long time resident of Baltimore, Mike is a member of the Baltimore Hebrew Congregation; a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Law and the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
Mike’s responsibilities include working with the professional advisors through the Planned
Giving Round Table (“PGRT”) and the Planned
Giving Design Center; as well as working with donors on planned gifts including charitable
remainder trusts, gift annuities, philanthropic funds and supporting foundations.
